About Us

Alexander Kozij began his career in Singapore at the Marcus Evans Group in 1999. He worked in sales roles for their Professional Training, Sponsorship and Summit Divisions. His career later spanned to Shanghai and San Diego and grew into sales management.

He joined Fastrucking in 2005 to handle regional sales for San Diego, Los Angeles and Phoenix. And went on to become the Terminal Manager for San Diego.

In 2006 he opened the San Diego Station for Concert Group Logistics (acquired by XPO) as an independent Branch Owner. By 2010 he also had the Branch Ownership of the Los Angeles Station.

After identifying a need to better service manufacturing and shipping between China and the USA. BI Supply Chain Solutions was founded. Alexander Kozij has extensive knowledge in China sourcing, product development, global logistics and trade.

Alexander Kozij is married. He and his wife are avid world travelers. His hobbies include skydiving, freediving, skateboarding and fast cars.

Kevin Choo started his career with Concert Group Logistics in 2009. Starting as a management trainee and working in all departments ranging from domestic trucking, air freight and international ocean and air transportation, imports and exports.
Throughout Kevin’s career his roles have encompassed management and sales positions being based in the United States, Australia, the UAE and Indonesia.
In 2016 he went on to found BI Supply Chain Solutions as a partner and COO of the company’s Freight Forwarding division.
Kevin is married and based in our Asia offices where he enjoys surfing, Muay Thai and riding motorcycles.

Alex began his career as a CPA and transitioned to consulting under KMPG, working with Fortune 500 companies in various industries, including technology, banking, healthcare, and financial services. Upon seeing macro trends at the intersection of energy efficiency rebates and manufacturing landscape, he launched and scaled an LED lighting sourcing company, achieving 400-600% annual growth by creating a novel manufacturer-direct business model. After exiting that company, he led another $50M LED lighting manufacturing company through turnaround initiatives, increasing sales performance and labor efficiency, and executing a major ERP overhaul. Under RSM LLP’s Supply Chain management consulting practice, he led engagements covering ERP implementation, IT infrastructure improvement, demand planning optimization, and S&OP process improvement, driving billions in enterprise value. This included improving forecast accuracy for a $1B food and beverage client by 28%, resulting in $900K annual cost savings, a 4% improvement in service levels, and a $5M increase in cash flow.

Fernanda Bussey began her career in Guadalajara, Mexico, at IIDEA in 2010, working as a corporate lawyer specializing in contracts. In 2014, she joined the Jalisco government’s Human Rights department, where she further honed her legal expertise. She later transitioned to TATA in 2016 as a data analyst, combining her legal background with analytical skills. In 2018, after completing bartending courses in NYC, she returned to Mexico and took on the role of Bar Manager. In 2020, Fernanda joined BI Supply Chain Solutions as a General Project Manager.

With a diverse background in data analysis, contract management, and international law, Fernanda brings a wealth of expertise to her role. As a General Project Manager, her skill set includes overseeing cross-functional projects, managing complex logistics, and ensuring seamless client communications.

Based in Guadalajara, Fernanda is passionate about exploring new cultures through travel. Her hobbies include reading, boxing, CrossFit, and diving into a good book whenever possible.

With more than 15 years of international business experience, Sonya has profound industry experience and a wide-knowledge of China sourcing, manufacturing, global trade and logistics.

Sonya was previously the Head Project Manager for Jenkins Asia Ltd and was instrumental in managing the China supply chains for several American businesses.

As General Manager for the Shanghai office of BI Supply Chain Solutions. Sonya manages all China team members for sourcing, engineering, quality control and project management.

Richard is an IT enthusiast with a versatile skill set in data processing, graphic design, website design and business systems design. His strong grasp of business methods and workflow optimization allows him to create streamlined systems that boost operational efficiency and help businesses achieve their goals.

Over the past five years, Richard has also built significant experience as an electrical estimator. He expertly navigates various bid boards to identify promising construction projects, analyzes building plans, identifies light fixtures and sources cost-effective alternates that perform equal or better than specified options. His familiarity with both residential and commercial U.S. construction projects allow him to consistently save General and Electrical Contractors (GCs and ECs) over 50% on fixtures and equipment.

Outside of work, Richard is a dedicated husband who actively contributes to his community by volunteering as a soccer coach for kids aged 5 to 11, teaching them the fundamentals of the game. His passion for soccer is matched by his love for lifelong learning, which includes reading various publications, staying informed on global news, following the English Premier League, and keeping fit through regular exercise.
With a combination of technical skills, industry experience, and a community-centered approach, Richard Ndukaku brings a comprehensive and adaptable skill set to every project he undertakes.
